As one of the financial hubs of China, Dalian has plenty of
banks located throughout the city. Some of them include: Bank
of China, Construction Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial
Bank of China, Agricultural bank, Communication Bank of China,
Pufa Bank, and Dalian Commercial Bank.The banks provide convenient
banking services such as savings, withdrawals, and exchanges.Also, plenty of self-service ATM machines can be found.Visitors
should check home bank about the various transaction fees that
may be charged for cash withdrawals.The self-service system
can be used by major credit cards, such as Master Card, Visa,

Calling cards (known as IP cards) are plentiful and offer
the cheapest way of calling overseas.Be aware, however, that
not all cards offer English instructions, so it would be best
to stick with the two main brands (China Netcom and China Telecom).They can be found in most in post offices and phone shops.
Travelers may or may not be able to use their mobile phone
for international calls, but this may require buying a local
SIM card.However, only using a SIM card can be very expensive,
so we recommend using both a SIM card and an IP card together
for international calls.
Other good places to go for international calls are the phone
bars, which are generally found around university areas.To
make a call, simply walk in and choose a vacant phone.
