Putonghua and HSK Program Study Components |
PRC Study's Putonghua and HSK programs consists of two main study components:
1) Putonghua Class Component
The language classes are held in the morning and incorporate all aspects of the Chinese language including, phonetics, listening, speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar. For more information on program curriculum, please click here .

Students are first placed according to the Chinese language proficiency level they indicate on the application form. During the morning of your first class day, you will be tested in three areas: grammar, comprehension, and fluency. Based on the test results, you will be place d in a class best suited to your current comprehension and fluency level. The class will be both comfortable and challenging.

2) HSK Exam Preparation and Training Component
The preparation and training classes are held in the afternoons. These classes offer specific and comprehensive training on the four test items: listening comprehension, grammatical structure, reading comprehension, and fill-in-the blanks section.
Qualified teachers will instruct participants on how to handle the exam by explaining the crucial and difficult areas encountered most by students. Students will be given intensive training on HSK simulated tests. The aim is to help you to get familiar with the various test types, to master the answering methods, and to rapidly improve your testing ability. At the same time, the classes will help you to review what you have already learnt and enhance your Chinese language ability level.
