The Private 1-On-1 Mandarin Chinese Program is available at the PRC-CIE Academy. This program is designed for participants who want an intensive study environment whereby they can excel in their Mandarin Chinese language abilities very quickly.

The Private 1-On-1 Mandarin lessons follow the same format as the Mandarin Chinese program, but rather than be in a class with other students, you will have the teacher all to yourself.

The Private 1-On-1 Mandarin Chinese lessons are available at the PRC-CIE Academy Only. The PRC-CIE Academy was established specifically to teach Mandarin Chinese to foreigners, as well as to meet students demand for high quality Mandarin language instructions while offering flexible start dates. The Academy employs teachers from our top partnering universities while using an outstanding curriculum that helps students learn Chinese quickly, effectively and efficiently.

The Private 1-On-1 Mandarin Chinese Language Programs are available from 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 20 weeks to 1 academic year (40 weeks).

Students may choose from the Regular Private 1-On-1 Mandarin Chinese or Business Mandarin Chinese classes, which offers 20 hours of lessons per week, or the Intensive Private 1-On-1 Mandarin Chinese or Business Mandarin Chinese classes, which offers 30 hours of lessons per week.

Both the regular and intensive Private 1-On-1 Mandarin Chinese classes focus on teaching topics related to everyday Chinese and Chinese society, whereas the regular and intensive Private 1-On-1 Business Mandarin Chinese classes will place more emphasis on language used in a work place, while still covering Chinese society in general. Please note, for participation in the Business Mandarin Chinese classes a minimum knowledge of 800 Characters is required.

Traveling overseas to study can be an exciting yet an unsettling experience. For students' safety and peace of mind, all of PRC Study's Full Service Programs include "StudentCare Plus" Travel and Medical Insurance. The insurance covers emergency medical and dental treatment, pro-rata return of program fee in case of curtailment, personal liability and more. We will provide you with all the required documentations needed by the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in your home country to obtain your visa to China.

Students should apply for an F Visa which is generally issued for a length of 1, 3, or 6 months regardless of the study duration. In some instances the Chinese Embassy or consulate may issue an L Visa, a tourist visa, despite the actual purpose of travel. In other scenarios, an X Visa may be issued, requiring also a physical examination. The type of visa issued is determined by the Chinese authorities, but PRC Study will assist students to extend or convert visas as required after arrival into China.
