PRC Study's Mandarin Chinese and Martial Arts program, available only in Beijing, is offered to students of all nationalities with Chinese language ability from total beginners to advance.

Students may choose to enroll in the Martial Arts Training Program only or combine it with the Mandarin Chinese Language studies with classes held at the PRC Study Academy. Which school your martial arts lessons will take place will depend on the martial arts form you wish to practice.

The martial arts training classes are held in the mornings, while the Mandarin Chinese language classes are held in the afternoons.

The Martial Arts classes are may be held at the Beijing Sports University, Capital Institute of Physical Education, Beijing Wushu Institute, or the Beijing Martial Arts Academy, which are well-recognized for producing elite wushu athletes and instructors.

Since each school has its own specialty, it is then also to be noted that each "shifu" (master) will specialize in teaching his or her own professional martial arts style. Therefore, the martial arts school you will attend depends on the martial arts style of your interest. Additionally, class sizes are small, from between six to eight students, allowing for more individualized training.

In addition to the Martial Arts Training program, students may choose to study Mandarin Chinese. The Mandarin Chinese language classes are held at the PRC Study Academy and are taught by certified teachers who hold degrees in teaching Mandarin. These teachers are also certified by the Chinese Ministry of Education to teach Mandarin as a second language to foreign students. Students who wish can obtain university credits.

The core language classes incorporate all aspect of the Mandarin Chinese including phonetics, listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension. There will be 10 hours of Mandarin Language instructions Monday through Friday. Participants can choose from two different types of Mandarin Classes:

You can choose to have private 1-on-1 tailor made classes or join a small group class with an average of 4 to 5 students per class as offered by the PRC Study Academy.
